Cadillac Celestiq
Hand-built Cadillac flagship EV. ~$340k. 600 hp dual-motor. ~303 mi range. 4-seat only. Built at GM Tech Center.
The Celestiq is Cadillac's hand-built electric flagship sedan — an extreme low-volume product positioned to compete with Rolls-Royce Spectre and Bentley Continental GT at the very top of the luxury market. Single generation since 2024 model year. Built at GM's Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan — not a normal assembly line but rather a dedicated craft assembly area with hand-applied paint, hand-stitched leather, and approximately 200 cars per year maximum production. Each Celestiq is fully bespoke — Cadillac's 'Cadillac Concierge' team works individually with each buyer to specify paint colors (over 100 options), interior trim materials, leather colors, wood / metal trim selections, and personalization elements. Pricing starts ~$340,000 with most cars exceeding $400k after personalization. Underlying Ultium platform (BEV3 / 400V architecture) — the same architecture as Lyriq / Vistiq, but with custom Celestiq-specific battery configuration and motor tuning. Single powertrain configuration: dual-motor AWD, 600 hp / 640 lb-ft combined, 111 kWh battery, ~303 mi EPA range, DC fast-charging up to 200 kW. 0-60 in approximately 3.8 sec. 4-seat only — no rear bench option (executive limousine seating with two reclining captain's chairs at rear). Cabin: 55-inch full-width pillar-to-pillar 8K LED display spanning the entire dashboard (the largest display in any production vehicle ever — beats Mercedes Hyperscreen and Cadillac Lyriq's 33-inch), 5-zone climate control, 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio, Smart Glass Roof with electronically dimmable opacity (4 zones), Magic Mirror rear-seat entertainment system. Air suspension standard with active body control, all-wheel steering. The Celestiq represents Cadillac's most ambitious product since the Eldorado of the 1950s — and is positioned as a statement product to demonstrate Cadillac's design and engineering capability, not as a profit center.
