Mid SUV

Volvo's best-selling car globally — and the one that re-established the brand in the mid-SUV market. Mk1 (2008–2017, P3 platform) felt very 2010-Volvo: handsome, slightly soft, T-series turbo petrols and D-series diesels. Mk2 in 2017 moved to SPA platform shared with XC90 / V90 / S90 — the same modular T5 / T6 / T8 / D4 / D5 line, then mild-hybrid B5/B6 from 2019, T8 Recharge plug-in, and the gorgeous Polestar Engineered T8. Used Mk2 T8 Recharge is a fleet-driver's BiK trick that has aged well as a private buy too. No pure EV — that's EX60 territory from 2026.
