Cadillac SRX 2nd Gen (2010-2016)
FWD-based shift. 3.6L V6 only after 2012. Volume seller and best-selling Cadillac of its era.
Theta Premium FWD platform shared with Chevy Equinox / GMC Terrain. Engines: LFW 3.0L V6 NA (265 hp) for 2010-2011, replaced by LFX 3.6L V6 NA (308 hp / 265 lb-ft) for 2012-2016. Six-speed automatic. FWD with optional Haldex AWD. Magnetic Ride Control optional. CUE infotainment from 2013. Two-row seating only (no third row in second-gen). The platform shift to FWD-based was commercially successful — second-gen SRX became Cadillac's best-selling vehicle for a stretch in the early 2010s, comfortably outselling the larger Escalade and the entry-level CTS. Replaced by the XT5 for 2017 on the C1XX platform. Now firmly the affordable luxury SUV used market.
