Cadillac Optiq
Cadillac's smallest EV. Below Lyriq in lineup. 300 hp dual-motor AWD, ~302 mi range. Mexico-built.
The Optiq is Cadillac's compact electric SUV and currently the smallest and cheapest Cadillac EV — slotted below the Lyriq. Launched 2025 model year. Built at GM Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. Single generation. Underlying Ultium platform (BEV3 / 400V architecture). Single dual-motor AWD configuration only (no RWD trim): 300 hp / 354 lb-ft combined (front + rear motors), ~5.9 sec 0-60. 85 kWh battery (smaller than Lyriq's 102 kWh, lower capacity tier of Ultium), ~302 mi EPA range. DC fast-charging up to 150 kW. Cabin: 33-inch curved 9K LED display carried over from Lyriq, AKG 19-speaker standard. Super Cruise hands-free highway driving available (optional, not standard). Trims: Luxury, Sport. Pricing $54k-$59k — cheapest Cadillac in the lineup at launch (cheaper than the gas-only XT4). The Optiq positions Cadillac to compete in the entry-luxury EV space against Volvo EX40, Audi Q4 e-tron, Mercedes EQA/EQB, and Genesis GV60. Mexico build raises tariff considerations versus Lyriq's Tennessee build but does not affect the federal tax credit eligibility under current IRA rules (USMCA assembly).
