N63B44T4 4.4L twin-turbo V8 with Alpina-specific tuning: 612 hp / 590 lb-ft from 2022 launch, increased to 630 hp / 590 lb-ft for 2024+ model years. Eight-speed ZF 8HP automatic. xDrive AWD only. Alpina-specific dampers, Active Roll Stabilization, integral active steering. Production at BMW Plant Dingolfing with Alpina-specific engine assembly at Buchloe, Bavaria. 0-60 mph 3.3 seconds, top speed 201 mph (delimited). Original launch price ~$140,000. Standard equipment includes Alpina-specific 21-inch forged wheels, Lavalina leather throughout, Alpina BiTurbo badging, Alpina-tuned exhaust note. Limited paint catalogue includes signature Alpina Blue Metallic and Alpina Green Metallic. Production continues for 2025-2026 model years under the BMW Alpina branding (Alpina was formally renamed to BMW Alpina from 2025 as BMW absorbed the historically-independent brand). The B8 GC is Alpina's halo sedan — and given the broader Alpina-into-BMW transition, it may prove to be the final purely-Alpina-engineered Alpina sedan.
