Nissan Skyline R34
Nissan Skyline R34 — spec data and generation history.
The R34 GT-R — RB26DETT 2.6 twin-turbo straight-six, ATTESA E-TS Pro AWD with Active LSD, Getrag 6-speed manual, multi-function display on the dash that was futuristic in 1999 and still looks period-correct now. JDM only when new — never officially sold in the UK — so every car here is a personal import, and after 25 years they are now legal to import to the US too, which has only pushed UK prices higher. Standard car was rated at 276 bhp under the gentlemen's agreement (real figures closer to 320 bhp). V-Spec, V-Spec II, M-Spec, Nür variants are halo specs; final 1,000 V-Spec II Nür and M-Spec Nür sold out in two days. Made famous by Paul Walker / Fast & Furious, by gaming culture (Gran Turismo cover star), and by Nismo's Z-Tune homologation specials. Values have hardened — clean stock cars are six figures.
