VW Tiguan
VW Tiguan — spec data and generation history.
VW's volume mid-size SUV — three generations on the UK market. Mk1 (5N, 2007–2016) on PQ35 was VW's first proper soft-roader and offered the cult R-Line with the 2.0 TSI 210; Mk2 (BW, 2016–2024) on MQB grew dimensions, added a 7-seat Allspace, brought the eHybrid PHEV from 2020, and the 320 bhp R-Performance variant in 2021; Mk3 (BX, 2024–Present) on MQB Evo offers a far longer 100km PHEV range and the touch-led cabin from the Mk8 Golf with the 2024 button-restoration walked back. Honest take: Mk2 R-Line eHybrid is the smart used buy; Mk3 needs another year of software updates.
