VW ID. Buzz
VW ID. Buzz — spec data and generation history.
The retro-styled MEB-platform MPV — VW's homage to the original Type 2 microbus, built as a 2022 short-wheelbase 5-seater and a 2024 long-wheelbase 7-seater. 77 kWh battery in early UK cars, 86 kWh in 2024+, single rear motor in standard cars, and a dual-motor GTX AWD added 2024. Charm is the standout — interior space is lounge-like and two-tone paint suits it — but the price walks straight into Mercedes EQV territory and ride is firm. Best as the family-bus alternative to a Multivan; the LWB 7-seater is the one most UK buyers actually want.
