Volvo EX90 — spec data and generation history.
Volvo's electric flagship — replaces the XC90 at the top of the range, on the new SPA2 platform shared with Polestar 3. 111 kWh battery, 7-seat layout (Volvo's first electric 7-seater). UK gets Twin Motor (402 bhp) and Twin Motor Performance (510 bhp). WLTP range up to ~365 miles, 250 kW DC charging. Lidar standard for future autonomous capability. Heavy at 2,800 kg; built at Ridgeville, South Carolina. Launch was delayed by software, and Polestar 3 (same platform) reached UK first. The EX90 is Volvo's biggest single bet — sells the brand's electric future.
