Pagani Huayra Sole Generation
Mercedes twin-turbo V12, active aero, single-clutch transmission. 100 coupes, 100 roadsters, plus specials.
Mercedes-AMG M158 6.0L twin-turbo V12. Standard Coupe 730 hp / 738 lb-ft; Roadster 754 hp; BC Coupe 754 hp track-focused; Roadster BC 791 hp; Imola 838 hp (most powerful street-legal Pagani at the time of launch); Codalunga long-tail 829 hp. Carbo-Titanium monocoque construction. Seven-speed Xtrac sequential, single-clutch — controversial choice but Pagani argued the weight savings (70 kg vs DCT) justified it. Active aerodynamics: four flaps (two front, two rear) adjust independently. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes 380mm with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The Huayra received praise for its design (often cited as one of the most beautiful modern hypercars) and noise; the single-clutch gearbox drew the most criticism. Now firmly collectible — Codalunga (5 cars only) at $7.4M each is the apex.
