Mazda5
Mazda5 — spec data and generation history.

Mazda's compact seven-seat MPV — sold in the UK as Premacy first (1999-2005), then as Mazda 5 across two further generations. Sliding rear doors became the signature trick from Mk2 onwards. Premacy / Mk1 (1999-2005) was a tall five-seat plus folding extras; Mk2 CR (2005-2010) added proper twin sliding rear doors and a dedicated 5+2 layout; Mk3 CW (2010-2018) refined the wave-side styling and Skyactiv engines for the run-out. The sliding doors are why you'd buy one. Hyundai i10 with seven seats it isn't — Mazda 5 drives with proper feel for an MPV. Replaced by no Mazda — they exited compact MPV territory for CX-30 / CX-5 SUVs. Used market is cheap and cheerful.
