Kia Telluride 2nd Gen (2027-present)
All-new 2027. 2.5L turbo (274 hp) replaces V6. First-ever Telluride Hybrid (329 hp, 35 mpg).
MQ4 all-new platform — Kia skipped the 2026 model year entirely (revealed November 2025, deliveries early 2026 for the 2027 model year). Significantly larger than 1st gen with more second/third row legroom, more cargo space. Two powertrains, both new: 2.5L Smartstream turbo I4 (274 hp / 311 lb-ft) with 8-speed automatic, FWD or AWD — replacing the previous V6 entirely. 2.5L turbo-hybrid (Smartstream + electric motor, 329 hp / 339 lb-ft combined) with eCVT-style automatic, FWD or AWD — the brand's first three-row hybrid SUV. EPA-estimated 35 mpg combined on Hybrid EX FWD (vs 23 mpg on outgoing V6) — class-leading for a three-row family SUV. Towing: 5,000 lb on 2.5T, 4,500 lb on Hybrid. Trim levels expanded to LX, S, EX, SX, SX Prestige plus X-Line versions of EX/SX/SX Prestige and X-Pro versions of SX/SX Prestige. AWD standard on SX Prestige, X-Line, and X-Pro. Cargo: 21.3 cu ft behind 3rd row, 47.7 cu ft behind 2nd, 88.3 cu ft seats folded. New twin wireless phone charging pads (industry-rare), revised infotainment, refreshed Driver Talk intercom. Built at Kia Manufacturing Georgia. Currently sold-out at MSRP with multi-month waitlists in many markets.
