Infiniti QX60 1st Gen (JX35 / QX60, 2013-2020)
Pathfinder-derived three-row CUV. CVT. First Infiniti built outside Japan (Smyrna, TN).
Nissan D platform shared with Pathfinder. VQ35DE 3.5L NA V6 (265 hp / 248 lb-ft). Xtronic CVT continuously variable transmission. FWD with optional Intelligent AWD. Three-row seven-passenger seating, second-row captains optional from 2017. QX60 Hybrid (2014-2017) used supercharged QR25DER 2.5L I4 (228 hp) plus electric motor for 250 hp combined system output — small-volume seller, hybrid powertrain shared with Pathfinder Hybrid. Standard equipment included Bose audio, leather, tri-zone climate, and (later cars) ProPILOT Assist driver-assistance suite. The CVT was the most-criticised aspect — drone, lack of shift feel, and reliability concerns at high mileage. Production at Nissan Smyrna, Tennessee — Infiniti's first vehicle built outside Japan. 2016 mid-cycle refresh updated front fascia, infotainment, and interior trim. Now firmly affordable used; AWD examples worth premium for all-weather usability.
