American-engineered, Canadian-built large SUV — Ford brought the Edge to UK and Europe in 2016 to slot above the Kuga in the line-up. Single bodystyle, 5-seat layout (no 7-seat option in the UK), all-wheel-drive standard. Engines were diesel-only for the UK: 2.0 TDCi 180 (six-speed manual or PowerShift) and 2.0 TDCi 210 BiTurbo (PowerShift only). Sold modestly because of price — UK Edge sat at Volvo XC60 / BMW X3 money without their cabin polish. Cancelled at the end of 2020.
