Verdict
A
8.0L V10, no traction control on early cars, unforgiving and now appreciating.
The Viper was Chrysler's deliberate throwback to a Cobra-style hot rod — huge V10, manual gearbox only, minimal electronics. Early cars had no airbags, no ABS, no roof. The ZB-I (2003) civilised it slightly. The ZB-II (2013-2017) was the most refined Viper but also the last; ACR variants on both gens were track weapons. Used Vipers were undervalued for years; that's no longer true. The ACR is the cult pick.
