Dodge Challenger
Big, heavy, charming. Hellcat and Demon are the unhinged halos.

The Challenger LC arrived in 2008 and stayed in production, almost unchanged, until 2023 — fifteen years of selling a deliberately old-school muscle car. It was always heavier and softer than the Mustang or Camaro, and that was the point. The Hellcat (707bhp) and Demon (840bhp) turned the formula up to absurd and made it a cultural moment. Used Hellcats are now under $50k. The R/T 392 is the one to buy if you want to drive it rather than break records.
