Chevrolet Tahoe
Body-on-frame, V8, three rows. The American family hauler default.
The Tahoe is what people who actually need to tow a boat and seat seven buy. It's body-on-frame (unlike the Ford Explorer), V8-powered (unlike most rivals now), and rides like a truck because it is one. The GMT900 (2007-2014) was honest. The K2UC (2015-2020) added magnetic ride control on Premier and Z71 trims. The current T1XX (2021-) finally has independent rear suspension and rides massively better. Fuel economy is brutal. Resale is excellent.
