Mid-size Crossover

The modern Chevrolet Blazer is a two-row mid-size crossover SUV — different from the original full-size Blazer SUV (1969-2005). Single-generation modern era. Launched 2019. Built on GM C1XX platform shared with Cadillac XT5 / GMC Acadia. The Blazer's styling deliberately echoes the Camaro muscle-car design language — aggressive front grille, slim LED headlights, muscular wheel arches. 2.0L turbo I4 (228 hp / 258 lb-ft) base, 3.6L V6 (308 hp / 270 lb-ft) optional. 9-speed automatic standard across the range. FWD or AWD. 2024 RS trim added performance-oriented variant with 345-hp V6 tune (revised intake/exhaust), sport-tuned suspension, Brembo front brakes, 21-inch wheels. 2024 mid-cycle refresh updated front fascia, refreshed taillights, Riptide Blue Metallic added. Trims: 2LT, 3LT, RS, Premier. 8-inch infotainment standard, 8-inch reconfigurable digital cluster optional, wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, Chevy Safety Assist standard (auto emergency braking, lane keep, forward collision warning). Built at GM Ramos Arizpe Mexico. The Blazer EV is a separate Ultium-platform model line launched 2024 — not covered here. Currently the ICE Blazer is positioned as a sportier alternative to RAV4 / CR-V / Edge for buyers wanting V6 power and aggressive styling. Discontinuation rumored after 2026 model year as Chevy pivots to Blazer EV exclusively.
