Cadillac Escalade
The American luxury SUV. V-Series with supercharged V8 is the unhinged variant.
The Escalade has been the cultural shorthand for American luxury SUV since the 2nd-gen (2002-2006) became the rapper's default. The current 5th-gen (2021-) finally has an interior worthy of the price tag — 38-inch curved OLED dash, AKG 36-speaker audio, Super Cruise hands-free highway driving. The Escalade-V (2023-) added the supercharged 6.2 LT4 V8 from the CT5-V Blackwing — 682bhp, 0-60 in 4.4s, in a 6,000lb three-row SUV. The Escalade IQ is the all-electric flagship arriving 2025. Used 4th-gens (2015-2020) are now reasonable used buys.
