The Tourbillon is Bugatti's clean-sheet successor to the Chiron, debuted June 2024 with deliveries beginning 2026. A complete architectural break: the W16 is gone, replaced by a Cosworth-developed naturally-aspirated 8.3-litre V16 paired with three electric motors (two front, one rear) for 1,800 PS (1,775 hp) total. Bugatti chose naturally aspirated over turbo to make the engine 'more emotional' and allow a 9,000 rpm redline. Carbon-fibre monocoque with 3D-printed suspension components designed in collaboration with Divergent Technologies (parent of Czinger). 24.8 kWh battery for ~37 mile EV-only range. Eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Production limited to 250 cars at €3.8 million ($4.1M) each. Named after the tourbillon mechanism in high-end mechanical watches — the analog instrument cluster operates via mechanical gears with hour-and-minute-hand-style needles. The Tourbillon represents the post-Rimac era at Bugatti (Rimac took 55% control of Bugatti in 2021 via the Bugatti Rimac joint venture).
