Bentley Azure 2nd Gen (2006-2010)
Arnage-based reboot. 450 hp twin-turbo V8. The Azure T (2008-2010) is the rare performance variant.
The second Azure debuted at Geneva 2006 on the Arnage platform, with completely new bodywork (sharing only philosophy with the first car). 6.75-litre L-series V8 with twin Garrett turbos — 450 hp at 4,100 rpm, 645 lb-ft (875 Nm) at 3,250 rpm. Six-speed automatic, RWD, four-seater convertible layout. The Azure T (unveiled at the 2008 LA Auto Show) raised output to 500 hp and 738 lb-ft, with 20-inch wheels and a more aggressive trim package — only a handful built per year. Rear-hinged front passenger seats made rear-seat access easier than in most four-seater convertibles. Production ended 2010 with no immediate successor — Bentley waited until 2017's Grand Convertible (Mulsanne-based) to return to this niche. Used market is small but appreciative: the second-gen Azure trades around $80-130k for the standard car, with Azure T examples commanding $140-160k+ given their rarity.
