Aston Martin DB7 — spec data and generation history.

The car that saved Aston Martin under Ford ownership. Based on a heavily modified Jaguar XJS / XK8 platform. Original DB7 (1994-1999) had a 3.2 supercharged inline-6 (335 bhp). DB7 Vantage (1999-2003) added the 5.9 V12 (414 bhp) — Aston's first V12. Coupe and Volante (convertible) bodies. GT and GTA (auto) trims late in life. Replaced by the DB9 in 2004.
