Toyota Camry
Toyota Camry — spec data and generation history.
Toyota's mid-size saloon revived in the UK from 2019 — last on UK shelves in the 2000s, returned briefly on the XV70 platform as a hybrid-only Avensis replacement. Single short-lived run, withdrawn 2022 when Toyota refocused on Corolla saloon. 2.5 Dynamic Force petrol + electric motor, 215 bhp combined, eCVT only, FWD only. No manual, no diesel, no AWD in UK. Sober cabin, comfortable ride, stronger fuel economy than rivals. Genuinely good, ignored by UK fleets. Used now is the value play if you want a comfortable hybrid saloon and don't want a Lexus ES badge. Replaced by Corolla Saloon at the volume end and ES at the upmarket end.
