Porsche 968 — spec data and generation history.

Final evolution of the 944 — Porsche's transaxle four-cylinder line — with an all-new 3.0 NA (236 bhp), VarioCam variable timing, six-speed manual or Tiptronic. Coupe and cabriolet bodies; the strict Clubsport (1993-1995) lost the rear seats, air-con and electric windows for a 1,300 kg kerb weight and lower price — the one to have. Sold poorly when new (Porsche almost went bust on its watch); now a properly desirable analogue Porsche with rising values.
