Maserati's first SUV — M161 platform shared loosely with the Ghibli/Quattroporte VI, on sale UK 2016-2024. Range opened with a 3.0 V6 diesel (271 bhp, VM Motori) for fleet buyers, then Ferrari-Maranello 3.0 twin-turbo V6 petrols (350 / 430 / 530 GTS) and topped out with a Ferrari-built 3.8 twin-turbo V8 in the Trofeo (590 bhp). ZF 8AT, Q4 AWD standard. Looks the part, sounds incredible (V6 and V8), but the cabin tech dates and the running costs sting — and like every modern Maserati, residuals fall hard. The Trofeo is the only one that makes emotional sense.
