Jaguar's compact saloon — built on the JLR D7a aluminium-intensive platform shared with the F-Pace and XF (X260). Single generation 2015–2024. UK got 2.0 Ingenium petrol and diesel (rear- or all-wheel drive), a 3.0 V6 supercharged in the XE S, and the 503 bhp 5.0 V8 supercharged in the XE SVR (Project 8 was halo). 2019 facelift updated cabin, infotainment and front bumper. Discontinued 2024 as Jaguar moved upmarket. The best-driving compact saloon Jaguar made; killed by lukewarm sales and the brand's electric pivot.
