B8 (2007–2016) launched with the 4.2 V8 (354 bhp), then switched to a 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 (328 bhp) from 2012. B9 (2016–2024) ran the 3.0 TFSI turbo V6 (349 bhp) with quattro and 8-speed Tiptronic auto. F5 (2024-Present) on PPC platform — 3.0 TFSI mild hybrid, 362 bhp. Always quattro, always V6 (post-V8 era), always twin-clutch or 8AT. The understated alternative to the BMW M340i and Mercedes C43.
