Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione — spec data and generation history.
Alfa's halo two-seat coupe and Spider — limited run, Maserati-built in Modena, sharing the 4.7 V8 with the Maserati GranTurismo. 444 bhp, transaxle six-speed automated-manual, RWD only. 500 Coupes built (2007–2009), 500 Spiders to follow (2009–2010). UK got a small handful of each. Looks designed by Wolfgang Egger — most beautiful Alfa since the Tipo 33 Stradale and a styling reference for everything Alfa has done since. Reliability is decent for what it is (it's fundamentally a Maserati), but parts and bodywork costs are eye-watering. Values now £200k+ for tidy cars and climbing — the modern collectible Alfa.
